Highlights from Bridge Research Celebration Day 2017
Bridge Research Celebration Day 2017 was a fun and productive day full of events. The FVBrAN Executive Board is impressed by the level of engagement and participation from network members. We hope you'll be a part of next year's BRCD events!!! August 2018-- mark your calendars!
Melissa Harrison Fortuna PhD'12 delivered a powerful and engaging keynote address on the importance of developing your soft skills.
The alumni career panel had representatives from industry, the non-tenure track, government, and education. They fielded many questions about pursueing "non-traditional" pathways and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Alumni in attendance were formally introduced and celebrated during the BRCD Welcome Dinner by receiving their FVBrAN welcome packets. Dave Caudel PhD'17 shows off his new FVBrAN t-shirt at the alumni-hosted mixer which was a huge success. We are excited to continue the event next year!
